You know how much I wanted to see this movie? I’ll tell you…. This much 0. Zero zip nada.


I played the games. They were great at the time. But a live action version of Doom starring The Rock? I think I’ll pass. But then on Black Friday they had it (along with a bunch of others) on fancy pants Blu-ray Steelbook + DVD + Digital Copy for $3.96. How can you say no to that? I couldn’t. I’m a bit of a Steelbook junkie. I redeemed the digital copy so as to not get burned when they expire before I remember to redeem them. It’s happened way too many times. And then promptly forgot about it.


Almost a year later I’m cabining in the middle of nowhere with no internet. BUT I had already downloaded the digital copy to my laptop. So I said why not and pushed play.


I shouldn’t have. Such a piece-o-junk. I should have just stared aimlessly into the woods.
