How was Avatar?
Me (Jan 11, 2010 9:00am):
Date: 2 tickets for Avatar
Ticket girl: 24 dollars.
Me: Seriously?
Ticket girl: You pay more for the 3D.
Me: Ahhhhh that explains why it’s made a billion dollars.
Reminded me of District 9.
I don’t understand how people can say it’s the greatest movie ever. Beforehand there was this Kenya fellow talking on his cell phone in the bathroom. He was telling the person on the other end that it was the greatest movie ever and he’d totally see it again with them. I don’t get that at all. It was neat. Would I see it again? Nahhhh.
It was 2hrs and 40 mins. Though it didn’t feel long and drawn out.
Felt like I did get my monies worth. I got lost in that 2hrs and 40 mins into Cameron’s world. He did a good job on that front.
I’d strongly recommend watching it in the theater in 3D. You’d be losing out watching it in 2D at home on video.

Hmmmm….Don’t think I’m going to waste my time. XXXX* is super against it and I don’t feel like spending $24 for tickets!! Ha!!!
Me (Jan 11, 2010 9:17am):
It blew away the last 3 star wars films!
I hate those though. Loved the old school original ones.
If you go without him I’d only be 12 dollars a ticket. Maybe even less if you go to a matinée.
Years from now you’ll watch it on TV and be like “Dammit this probably would have rocked in 3D”.
Lorraine (Jan 11, 2010 9:19am):
Eh, I think I’ll live. I could care less about it. I hate hype movies.
Me (Jan 11, 2010 9:22am):
But you’ll miss the Piranha 3D trailer!
It looks soooo horrible that it’ll probably be great!
“DON’T GO INTO THE WATER!” LOL!
Lorraine (Jan 11, 2010 9:23am):
Eeeehhhhhhhhhhhh………………………..nah. thanks though. J
