NOT ME: You buying Batman v Superman director super version on BR?
ME: Wasn’t planing on it at all. Didn’t think it looked any good. Ben Aflex as Batman? Come on! Looks like it will be coming out on fancy pants Blu-ray on the 19th of July. Wow the extend edition will be 30 minutes longer than the theatrical release. That does intrest me….

I get an email from Vudu letting me know you can buy the digital edition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition now.

I seriously had no desire to watch Batman V Superman. But then I heard about the ultimate edition. 30 more minutes added back into the movie. That doesn’t happen that often.
I started out not liking it at all. But about a half hour into it I started getting into their spin of the story.
I feel very lost. It’s been quite a while since I watched Man of Steel. I only vaguely remember it. No idea what happened in it. And they keep referencing it. Well at least I think they do. Like I said I don’t remember what went down in Man of Steel. But at this time 30 mins into BvSUe I’m not going to stop and rewatch Man of Steel again. Let’s see how this one plays out. If I enjoy it maybe I’ll rewatch Man of Steel? Only time will tell….
I really need to stop having smokes breaks. I’m wearing the Nicotine patch right now. This cigarette is probably going to make me ill. Stubs it out and walks back inside and hits play.

Holy something Batman. Still an hour left. I’m enjoying it. It’s loooong. I like that.
Fuck I’m going to smoke again. Need to stop that very soon.

It’s been a few hours since it ended. I enjoyed it. Was quite a lot better than I had imagined. Was it better than the Nolan trilogy? No.
