I just finished watching

THE EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURES OF ADÈLE BLANC-SEC

. I really enjoyed it. It’s kind of like a combination of

AMÉLIE

and

INDIANA JONES

. I’ve been going thorough a Luc Besson kick due to the imminent release of

VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS

(which looks freaking AMAZING!).
Anyways I just finished watching

THE EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURES OF ADÈLE BLANC-SEC

and then Googled it.
1) it’s supposedly the beginning of a trilogy Besson will be making. Though

THE EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURES OF ADÈLE BLANC-SEC

came out in 2010 and I don’t see anything else regarding the trilogy right now…
2) Turns out it’s based off a French comic series that started in the 70s. Off to the internet!
