Shooter (2007)

Some kids I work with were raving about Shooter. I hadn’t watched any trailers for it. All I had seen was the poster. It made it seem like some sort of western cowboy movie starring Marky Mark. I thought why not I’ll give it a watch.

The menu on the Blu-ray showed a modern day gun zooming in and assassinating someone.
dammit. I have half a mind to not watch it now… Sigh….

I like not knowing anything about movies. I can’t stand it where they show clips from the movie on the Blu-ray menu. Sigh….

Well if you suspend a lot of belief it’s a decent action sniper flick. I enjoyed it. Worth a rental. If it’s on tv a couple of years from now I’d probably say something along the lines of “oh it’s shooter” and then watch it.

Ahhhhhhhh deleted scenes are sometimes left out for a reason……
So the details:
They’re looking for a guy you originally saw in the beginning of the film. He stated he had received a (hmmmmmm what was it?) a Congressional Medal of Honor.
Turns out wasn’t the guy who he said he was.
Marky Mark brushes it off with this fabulous comment.
“The must have got to my internet” referencing (scene not shown) when he previously Googled the dudes name at his cabin.
WOW!
If that had been in the movie I would have stopped watching at that point.
Idiots…
