Years and years ago I saw this film at a comic con.
They had it on a loop showing the best fighting / CGI scenes over and over again…
Unfortunately they were selling it (on VHS (remember those)) for $30.
I said screw $30 for a bootleg VHS tape!
A few years later when DVD’s were staring to become popular I found it in the foreign section at a major retailer for ten bucks.
The case was very beat up so they were forced to mark it down.
I was super excited.
Ran home
Popped it in.
After it was over I was VERY glad I hadn’t dropped the 30 bucks on it.
Though maybe if I had bought it… I wouldn’t have had the built up expectations for it for a few years and then not have been as disappointed.
