I don’t know what possessed me to think i would like this Takashi Miike film where all the actors spoke English.
No no NOT “dubbed” but rather forced (via paycheck) to actually (during the filming) to speak English.

Hmmm maybe just maybe it was Quentin Tarantino’s idea. He does get quite a bit of screen time in the film.
I thought it would just be a brief cameo.
It is just a cameo BUT it is quite a bit longer than I thought that would even be when I noticed on the cover he was in it. It’s almost a borderline “part” and not just a cameo.
Sadly I could understand the horrible HORRIBLE Engrish that was spoken better than Quentin Tarantino talking. How messed up is that?
The Engrish really really threw me. I could not get over it. You needed to have the English closed captioned track on anyway to even begin to try an understand what they were saying. This could have been such a fun rental. Oh well.
